The municipality of Lecce turned to Visionbox.it because it was looking for effective media to promote a project aimed at preventing and combating accidents linked to alcohol and drug use. In addition to a dedicated app and website, the municipality decided to exploit the potential of digital signage.

Seven 55″ indoor touchscreen totems from the Moai Ultra Slim line were installed in schools and driving schools in the municipality. In public squares, on the other hand, the administration opted for three 55″ Moai NoLimit outdoor totems, also interactive and customised with RAL colours. This model, with a steel structure, IP65 resistance and shatterproof tempered glass, is ideal when the totem is placed outdoors without additional protection (e.g. porticoes, niches, etc.) and is exposed to all weather conditions.

As for content management, instantPlay Web players were used in the indoor installations, allowing the project website to be viewed on the monitor by simply loading the URL into the configuration page. This allows students and staff to explore it independently. For outdoor installations, however, we opted for our VisionboxPro system. This digital signage solution allows for more sophisticated content management and programming.
