Visionbox Case Studies
Digital signage for the promotion and information of the museum.
Città della Scienza chose Visionbox.it to digitise communication within the museum. This is a large and rich structure where a paper-based communication risked being extremely dispersive.
Thematic events change every weekend, educational and laboratory proposals are constantly updated. The risk was that visitors would not have a complete overview of the museum’s offer and consequently participation and attendance would suffer.
Digital Signage made it possible to use the monitors to offer comprehensive overviews of the different aspects of the museum. One monitor is dedicated to informing children and parents of museum offerings on birthdays, special occasions or the summer break before the return to school.
Another is used to transmit timetables and possible changes, service information and other notices that must also be able to be updated in real time by staff in times of need.
Finally, there are monitors that highlight workshops and special events organised during weekends. In this case, the scheduling function of our software was particularly useful, as it allows all communication for weekends to be scheduled in advance for future months as well, thus making content management by staff more efficient.
